The pecha holder, with its traditional bamboo frame, is a fundamental support for reading your Buddhist texts.
Hand-crafted in Nepal, our pecha-holders are made of high-quality natural unpainted bamboo that frames a colourful silk brocade exterior and a cotton cloth interior with a handy pocket to hold images of deities or notes. Open, the holder sits upright supporting your text while freeing your hands and allowing you to easily read through your practice. Closed, the holder conveniently stores your practice material between sessions, protecting it from dust, mishaps, dampness, and lost pages.
It is commonplace to find low quality copies made for tourism in the Himalayas, yet ours are of such high quality and rarity, that even our Nepali customers buy them as gifts for their friends and family back home!
