In the Buddhist context, we train in making daily offerings as a skilful means to instil the habit of selfless generosity. Moreover, we start our day by creating merit and an uplifting frame of mind. Traditionally, a set of 7 bowls are arranged on one’s altar to symbolize the offering of drinking water, bathing water, flowers, incense, light, perfume, food (Tib.
shalsé), and a conch with a kusha grass wand.
Complete your set with a candle holder. You can find all our offering items here. Bowl measures 5 cm diameter x 3 cm tall.
